David Fillmore
Board Member

David Fillmore works as a licensed civil engineer at a firm in the South Puget Sound. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Technology from New Mexico State University.

David has a heart for outreach to groups that Jesus identified as the most vulnerable. It was a transformative 10-month experience for him and his family, as they opened their home to four sisters and two children from Afghanistan, that led to his commitment to serve on the Board. David is passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of sojourners facing similar circumstances. He is excited to contribute to fostering a more effectively compassionate community through his role on the Board of Sojourner Home.

David and his wife reside in Puyallup, Washington with their three children. He finds solace and excitement in the outdoors, sports with his kids, woodworking, and gardening.
